CO2

On average, the building emits some 130,000 m³/year, depending on the precise composition of the biogas and consequently the biomass. The plants have an average CO2 requirement of 110,000 m³/year, depending on the greenhouse’s production levels and the light intensity throughout the year. This means that some 84% of the CO2 emissions can be absorbed by the plants. The CO2 emission levels of the total building (without supplying to the greenhouse) is as little as 4.6% of the levels emitted in a situation where energy is generated by conventional means. If the calculation takes the relay of CO2 to the greenhouse into account, this percentage drops to as little as 0.7%.
